I’m Shanley, the founder of Bright Departures, a Dallas based, full service travel agency for clients who want their trips to feel thoughtful, personal, and genuinely worth the investment.
My love for travel started in college, when I studied abroad with Semester at Sea and discovered how much I loved seeing the world in a deeper, more intentional way. Since then, I have spent my free time reading Condé Nast Traveler, researching emerging destinations, and dreaming up my next trip.
Bright Departures started naturally. Friends, acquaintances, and eventually strangers began reaching out for travel advice, and I realized how much I loved helping people plan experiences that felt personal, considered, and a little beyond what they would have found on their own.
